Our Story
Sunday February 24th, 2019, was the day we met. This was our first photo we ever took together, on February 25th, 2019. That day Dan called Kim while she was at work and asked her if she wanted to go to a concert tonight. She asked her boss at the time if she could leave work that day, because she “thinks this guy is going to be her husband, and couldn’t miss the opportunity for a spontaneous concert with him”.
We met each other on a Sunday night for dinner at Davey’s Locker in Montvale in February of 2019. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. Together, we’ve celebrated 6 years of birthdays, holidays, and vacations. We’ve been blessed with the birth of new family members, moved in to a beautiful apartment together, started new jobs, made new friends, and started a successful business, all in the name of love. In our 6 years together, we’ve also suffered loss. Loss of jobs, of 2 family members and of our beautiful dog, Kevin. Through the light and the darkness, we lean into our faith, and we’ve learned that together, we can do anything… and that’s exactly what we plan on doing. Our favorite place we’ve traveled together has been Italy in Summer 2024, and we can’t wait to go back.
